Man Found Guilty for 17 Year Old Indecency with a Child Case
A case from almost 17 years ago finally comes to a close.
68 year old Amado Miranda, of Sugar Land was found guilty by a jury in Lubbock Thursday morning on two counts of indecency with a child.
A police report in Lubbock was filed in December 2004 but the allegations dated back to the year 2000. His bond was revoked in 2009 for failing to contact his attorney every week as ordered by the court. Miranda was located and arrested for the bond revocation in 2016. Miranda is the former pastor at Agape Church in Lubbock.
The same jury that convicted Miranda will decide his punishment.
