Man Attempts to Steal Vehicle With Children Inside at East Lubbock Stripes Store

A Lubbock mother had a scare after a man tried to steal her van with her children inside. The woman left her car running in the parking lot of the Stripes Convenience Store on 82^nd and I-27 while she made quick purchase inside. While she was inside a man attempted to steal the vehicle, however the woman’s young daughter took the keys out of the ignition, and the man fled.
