Man Arrested in Connection to Andre Emmett Murder
A man was arrested in Dallas on Saturday, October 19th, in relation to the murder of former Texas Tech basketball player Andre Emmett.
KAMC News reports that police confirmed there to be 2 suspects, meaning that one person is still at large.
Surveillance video shows two men approaching Emmett at his home in Dallas on September 23rd. The two men stole from Emmett a watch and necklace. Emmett gave the items up and attempted to flee, but was then shot.
32-year-old Keith Johnson was arrested, and the Dallas County Sheriff's Department says the arrest was related to Emmett's murder.
Johnson remained in the Dallas County Jail Sunday evening on a $500,000 bond.
