Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, political analyst and Washington Times columnist Matt Mackowiak joined Chad to discuss possibilities in the replacement of FBI director James Comey, including U.S. Senator John Cornyn, who is said to be in the top-tier running for the appointment, as well as other people that may be considered for the job.

Mackowiak and Hasty talked about the likelihood that Cornyn could be selected, and the ramifications in the Texas political world if that were to transpire. Mackowiak said,

If Cornyn's the choice it is going to cause a real scramble in politics in Texas.
