Mackowiak on the State of the 2020 Election

Republican Strategist and Chairman of the Travis County Republican Party, Matt Mackowiak joined The Chad Hasty Show on Tuesday to discuss the State of the 2020 Election.

Early voting for the 2020 Election begins in less than a month. October 13 is when Texans can begin to vote early this year. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Governor Greg Abbott extended the length of early voting by one week. In 14 days the first Presidential debate will take place and in 49 days, it will finally be election day.

So where do things stand right now between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden?

According to Matt Mackowiak, the 2020 Election is going to be "very close". Mackowiak told KFYO that he believes the election will come down to two things, the debates and how the economy is doing in a month. Mackowiak also said the President must win Florida in order to win the election.

Mackowiak also talked about whether the U.S. Senate will remain under Republican control or be controlled by the Democrats.
