Mackowiak Discusses Federal Spending and Austin Homeless Camping

Republican strategist Matt Mackowiak joined The Chad Hasty Show on Tuesday to discuss some of the big headlines of the day. On Monday, President Trump announced an agreement on a two year budget and increase of the debt ceiling. Mackowiak discussed the deal and said that while it may be good politically, the deal adds to the debt.

Mackowiak discussed how Republicans have been fairly silent about the increase in the national debt during Trump's time in office. Mackowiak also talked about how increasing the debt impacts taxpayers.

Mackowiak also discussed an on-going petition effort in Austin that he launched aimed at reversing the new homeless camping ordinance.
