A Lubbock woman says that she was forced to watch 2 men beat her dog to death after it bit someone.

KAMC News reports that Lubbock Animal Control Services were investigating a dog bite that was serious enough to send someone to the hospital. This happened back on Thursday, November 3rd.

The owner of the dog says that after the bite happened, she was contacted and told to come over to a friend's house in the 1700 block of Norwich Avenue. There, she encountered the 2 suspects, whose identities are currently unknown.

The victim says that she was forced to sit in a chair while the 2 suspects used various objects to beat the dog to death. Afterwards, the suspects allegedly buried the dog in the backyard of the house. A Lubbock Police Officer reported finding several items covered in blood in a nearby dumpster along with freshly disturbed dirt in the backyard of the home in question.

No arrests have been made. This case is still under investigation.
