Lubbock Woman Needs Our Help After Losing Her Hands and Legs
This story is absolutely horrible.
I think the best way to tell this story is with a quote straight off the GoFundMe page:
Crish McCutcheon was diagnosed with pneumonia that went septic on Sunday, 6 January 2019. The poisons in her blood attacked her vital organs and started shutting them down rapidly. While on a ventilator, the physicians worked hard at countering the attack by administering high doses of medicines designed to fight the problems inside her body. These actions had a diverse effect on Crish that left her hands and feet without needed blood circulation, thus causing the flesh to die.
On Wednesday, 16 January 2019 Crish had her first amputations from her illness leaving her with no hands...in two days from now, Crish will have her legs amputated below the knee. Her extremities have died. This devastating event has created a life long wake that will require money that we just do not have. Please tithe to this cause and help my beautiful, young and adventurous wife with the necessary accessories and modifications to maintain a quality of life she deserves. Her heart is bigger than Texas.
It's crazy how quick you can go from pneumonia to this type of situation. Crish has already undergone her first amputations, with more scheduled. This is an incredibly tragic situation, and no family can prepare for something like this.
