A Lubbock resident was sentenced to more than 10 years in federal prison Friday for possession of prepubescent child pornography.

Eduardo Cantillo, 44, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of prepubescent child pornography in December of last year. According to the Department of Justice Northern District of Texas, Cantillo searched for and saved the pornographic content using a computer at his home.

The case was brought against Cantillo as part of Project Safe Childhood which was launched in 2006.
