I get that tacos are serious business and worth doing almost anything for, but assaulting a United Supermarkets employee is simply out of line, no matter the circumstance. They're so friendly, after all.

Here's what the LPD had to say on their Facebook page about the incident:

TACO 'BOUT a robbery! Detectives with the Lubbock Police Department need your help in locating the suspect seen in the video below. He is wanted for a robbery that occurred at the United on 82nd street, near Boston, in late August. The suspect tried to get away with some ingredients for a taco dinner, but as an employee tried to stop him from stealing, the suspect wrestled and punched the employee while trying to flee the scene.

If you can identify this suspect, or if you have any information about this case, please call Crime Line at 741-1000.

In fact, if the information you provide leads to an identification and arrest, you may be up for a cash reward, with enough money to buy your own taco dinner!

In all seriousness, if you need food assistance, please don't risk your freedom stealing. Call 3-1-1 for resources, and let's get you fed the right way.
