On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Gerald Dolter from Lubbock Moonlight Musicals talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about their upcoming performance of the world-famous musical Les Miserables.

This fall, Lubbock Moonlight Musicals will be teaming up with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra to perform the critically acclaimed musical Les Miserables. Broadway actor and Lubbock native David Gaschen will be preforming the lead role of Jean Valjean. Dolter said he and everyone with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals are very excited about the show, and that Les Miserables is a show they've been wanting to perform for years. Tickets for the show went on sale May 20th, and according to Dolter, have already been selling like crazy.

Lubbock Moonlight Musicals will also be kicking off its Summer 2013 performance series next month. The series beings with Peter Pan in June, Annie Get Your Gun will be preformed in July, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will wrap up the series in August.

Performances for Les Miserables are set for November 21, 22, 23,and 24th at the Lubbock Civic Center Theater. Tickets for the show are available through Select-a Seat Lubbock.
