Lubbock McDonald’s to Celebrate McHappy Day to Support Ronald McDonald House
An area fast food restaurant is participating in a charity drive.
Lubbock and South Plains area McDonald’s are celebrating McHappy Day, which is their official launch of the 10th annual “Give a Hand” fundraiser.
The fundraiser benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities, which has been the company’s favorite charity for 38 years.
Lubbock-area residents are invited to purchase a paper “Give a Hand” at participating McDonald’s, for $1, $3, or $5.
Customers are also invited to write messages of support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities on their hand, and submit it online at www.twitter.com/McDonalds. A winner will be selected at random each day to receive a $50 Arch Card, and a $500 donation for their local RMHC chapter.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities creates and supports programs that improve the health and well-being of children.
