Lubbock Man Indicted for Online Solicitation Of A Minor
On Tuesday, November 5th, a grand jury indicted a Lubbock man for online solicitation of a minor under 14-years-old.
According to KAMC News, 39-year-old Austin Starns was arrested in October of 2016 after being caught by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS agents were posing as a 13-year-old girl and put up an advertisement that Starns had responded to. During the conversation, Starns said that we wanted to engage in sexual activity with someone who he thought was a minor.
He also sent sexually explicit pictures to the agents.
