Lubbock Man Indicted for Impersonating a Police Officer
On Tuesday (April 24), a Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted a man for impersonating a police officer.
KAMC News reports 58 year-old Eliseo Benites was arrested in March for calling the police dispatcher and acting like a police officer to get information of license plate returns. Benites called on three confirmed occasions, but he could’ve called more.
Benites is being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center of a $20,000 bond.
