The Lubbock ISD School Board this morning voted to give district employees an increase in pay to help offset an increase in health insurance premiums.  The increase in pay will average $455 annually for Teachers nurses and librarians. Counselors and diagnosticians will receive a $400 raise, and secretarial positions will receive a $359 raise. Administrators have received the smallest raise with $300 dollars being added to their paychecks annually. Trustees also reviewed budget and revenue information to prepare for an August 25th vote on the tax rate, which will not increase.
