Lubbock County Republican Party Announces Resumption of County Convention

The Lubbock County Republican Party has announced it will resume its 2020 County Convention on Saturday, June 6, at 10am at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall.

The county convention was previously paused on Saturday, March 21, when mass gatherings had been prohibited in Texas as the Coronavirus pandemic spread across the country.

Those attending the LCRP convention on June 6 will have their body temperatures checked at the door, as part of the efforts to curb the spread of Coronavirus, enacted by the City of Lubbock (landlord/owner of the Civic Center).

Delegates for the Republican Party of Texas 2020 State Convention will be selected at the county convention.
