Lubbock Area Judge Appointed to School Safety Center Board

A Lubbock judge has been appointed to the Texas School Safety Center Board by Governor Rick Perry. Ruben Reyes is judge of the 72^nd Judicial District Court in Lubbock and Crosby counties, and also presides over the Lubbock County Adult Drug Court.

He is also a board member of various organizations including the Lubbock County Bar Association and National Association of Drug Court Professionals. He has a bachelor’s degree from Yale and a law degree from Baylor University.
