Lubbock Area Judge Appointed to School Safety Center Board
A Lubbock judge has been appointed to the Texas School Safety Center Board by Governor Rick Perry. Ruben Reyes is judge of the 72nd Judicial District Court in Lubbock and Crosby counties, and also presides over the Lubbock County Adult Drug Court.
He is also a board member of various organizations including the Lubbock County Bar Association and National Association of Drug Court Professionals. He has a bachelor’s degree from Yale and a law degree from Baylor University.
