LP&L Completes Power Restoration, Xcel has Few Remaining Outages

Lubbock Power & Light reported Wednesday, December 30, all remaining power outages due to extreme winter weather were eliminated Tuesday afternoon. Xcel Energy still shows several outages across the region.

In total, 6,180 LP&L customers lost power over the past several days with an enormous effort made by LP&L personnel to restore the grid to full working order.

Xcel’s power outage map shows numerous remaining outages in Amarillo, Seminole, Hobbs, Sudan, Tahoka and Clovis.
