This Levelland Party Is a Real Sausage Fest
St. Michaels of Levelland is ready to rock their 37th annual sausage festival.
Maybe we should scrap that "annual" bit. The event was actually canceled last year. (Man, this "annual" thing is messed up for a lot of folks.) Let's just go with "don't miss the sausage fest on February 27th."
It sounds like a very fun day in Levelland, Texas. Let's start at the beginning, St. Michael is the patron saint of the military, police and firemen, as well as being the go-to guy in the battle of good versus evil. With those qualifications, I like this event already.
Now let's get to the eats. Enjoy link sausage, sauerkraut, German potato salad and more as part of the dinners sold between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. You can dine in or carry out. Then there's the big draw: the ability to buy German sausage by the pound. At $8 per pound, it's a steal. There will also be smaller amounts of jalapeno and breakfast sausage ready to go.
They are also kicking things up a notch by having a raffle for a sweet Bronco Sport from Smith Levelland.
Levelland is a bustlin' town, but all signs should point to the event. The actual address is 316 E Washington Street.
How about supporting the church's ministry while throwing down some premium, fresh and handmade tube steaks? Myself, I'm all about it.
If you'd like to know more about the event you can find them here or here.
