Lane Closures Expected at 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue

Lane closures in a busy part of Lubbock can be expected for the next two weeks.

Utility construction as part of the Lake Alan Henry water supply project will cause multiple lane closures along 82^nd Street at Quaker Avenue.

Eastbound traffic lanes will be reduced and the south turn lane onto Orlando Avenue will be closed. The Kingsgate shopping center can still be accessed via Quaker Avenue.

The project will begin on Monday, October 31^st. Work is expected to take 10 days to complete.
