KFYO Job Opening: Part-time Producer/News Anchor

News/Talk 790, KFYO Producer/ News Anchor Opening

KFYO has an immediate opening for a part-time producer/ news anchor. This position requires producing KFYO’s afternoon talk show 3 days a week and anchoring KFYO News 2 days a week. Hours required to work this position fall between (2:45p-7:15p weekdays and 8:45a-12:45p Saturdays).  This position also requires shifts to produce play-by-play sports on occasional Friday evenings and Saturdays from August-May. Sunday morning availability (9a-Noon) is also a plus.

This position requires daily work on the KFYO.com website through contributing written news stories and the posting of KFYO News interview podcasts.

Weekly workload will be between 18-25 hours.

Previous radio experience is preferred, but not needed, along with knowledge of digital audio editing software (ie: Cool Edit/ Adobe Audition).
