Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Quorum Report editor Scott Braddock joined Chad to talk about the latest in Texas news and politics.

Braddock and Hasty discussed the announcements from democrat Julian Castro that he is withdrawing from the 2020 White House race, and that he will be supporting Elizabeth Warren to receive the Democratic Party's nomination to oppose President Donald Trump.

Also discussed was the contest in the Texas Democratic Party to decide the candidate opposing U.S. Senator John Cornyn in the 2020 election.

While discussing Castro's history and possible plans in the near future, Braddock said,

Where Castro goes from here, who knows? He's still relevant and could run for something else. He'll probably run for something here in Texas.
