Judge Kara Darnell Discusses Campaign For 99th District Court

Judge Kara Darnell joined The Chad Hasty Show on Tuesday to discuss her campaign for the 99th District Court. Darnell currently hears CPS and child welfare cases and has been doing so for over 6 years.

Darnell told KFYO that she was approached at first to run for the 140th District Court but didn't feel as though she had enough experience with criminal cases to run. The 99th District Court hears mainly civil cases and other criminal cases. Darnell told KFYO that when she heard Judge Sowder was retiring, she knew she was going to be in the race.

Darnell touted her resume during the interview along with never being overturned in the appellate courts.
