James Arnold Says Hotels Continue To Increase In Lubbock [INTERVIEW]

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, James Arnold, President of Lubbock's American Bank of Commerce joined Hasty in the KFYO studio to talk about the current and future economy of Lubbock and the surrounding areas.

Arnold and Hasty discussed many economic topics, including the impact of students arriving for college, housing growth and values, and the continuing growth in Lubbock's hotel industry.

"As of last count there are eleven hotel projects, either in the design phase, in the permitting phase, or in the construction phase. And so, unprecedented for Lubbock," Arnold said. "I keep waiting on that point [where we can say], 'OK, that's enough, we're good on hotel space,' but they build them, and they fill 'em up."
