Lubbock Famous BBQ Joint Currently Closed, Moving To New Location

When I first heard about this I panicked thinking they are closing but don't worry guys they are coming back.

Wiley's Bar-B-Q has been locally owned and operated since 1988. The family has put in a lot of work and made it a great place for the Lubbock community.

Their location on Parkway Drive has always been their home until now. The owners posted to Facebook saying they are closing their doors on June 8th, 2023 and will no longer serve the community from that location.

They continued to say how hard it is to say goodbye but they will be back at a new location hopefully soon.

"We will always remember great food, conversations, and customers. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your reunions, parties, weddings, graduations, Home goings, and other family events! We will cherish these memories as we prepare to create new ones soon," said Tina R. Wiley-Williams.

So from now on the location on 1805 Parkway Dr, Lubbock, TX 79403 is no more. They are moving to 1924 Ave A, Lubbock, TX 79404. This is the old Kennards building at 19th Street and Avenue A.

"We are working diligently to repair and clean the old Kennards building to get it ready to serve you. Information on a grand opening coming soon," said Wiley.

Keep checking on here and we will keep you updated on when this location is finally opening back up. When it does you have to try the smoked chicken and potato salad.
