It’s December in Lubbock, y’all, and you know what that means—chilly mornings, Christmas lights everywhere, and everyone anxiously wondering if they’ve been naughty or nice this year. Lucky for us, the North Pole Government just released their official “Naughty and Nice” list through the Department of Christmas Affairs, and I’ve got some terrible news—I made the Naughty List! WHAT?!?

Every year, this highly classified list uses the Global Behavior Tracking Network (sounds fancy, right?) and high-tech data mining to figure out who’s getting gifts and who’s getting coal--like me. They’ve got all the details on your good deeds, like helping your neighbor put up their Christmas lights—or here in Lubbock, helping them chase their trampoline down the street on a windy day.

If you’re curious about where you landed, you can check the list for yourself by clicking here. Didn’t see your name? Don’t worry! You can submit it for review and try to get on Santa’s good side before the big day.

Now, I know some of y’all might be sweating this. Maybe you meant to donate to Help 4 the Holidays but got sidetracked, or maybe you borrowed a co-worker’s spicy ketchup from Whataburger and didn’t replace it. Don’t stress—there’s still time to turn things around! Volunteer, spread some holiday cheer, or just resist the urge to honk at someone who doesn’t know how to merge onto the Loop.

For now, I’m feeling pretty bummed about making the Naughty List. But, maybe I can turn things around. It’s all about spreading the Christmas spirit and doing your part, Lubbock. So, check the list, see where you stand with the Big Guy, be merry, and let’s make this holiday season one to remember!
