One of Lubbock’s favorite feel-good traditions is back—and it’s celebrating a milestone that’s two decades strong!

Casas for CASA

CASA of the South Plains just kicked off its 20th annual Casas for CASA fundraiser, and if you’ve ever dreamed of winning a custom-built playhouse while supporting an incredible cause, this is your year.

The community event is more than just a raffle—it’s a mission. All proceeds go directly toward recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer advocates for children in foster care across the South Plains. These are the folks who step in when kids need a voice the most—ensuring they’re safe, supported, and placed in permanent, loving homes.

This year’s prizes?

It's bigger and better than ever! The raffle includes seven jaw-dropping, custom-built playhouses (each one more Pinterest-worthy than the next), a storage building, an enclosed trailer, and a $3,500 Mastercard gift card. Yeah, it’s kind of a big deal.

Raffle tickets start at just $5, and the more you buy, the better the deal—so there’s no excuse not to jump in and make a difference.

Jaclyn Morris, CASA’s CEO said via press release:

“For 20 years, Casas for CASA has been a powerful way to bring the community together for a fun cause that has a lasting impact. Every ticket purchased helps us serve more children—and brings us closer to a future where every child in foster care has their best interests being met.”

What are the Dates?

The fundraiser runs now through May 30, 2025, with the big drawing taking place that day at 5:30 p.m. You can see the playhouses in person and buy tickets at the on-site location, or head to casaofthesouthplains.org for all the info and online purchases.

Twenty years of hope, community, and change—and it all starts with one little raffle ticket. Let’s do this, Lubbock.
