Buffalo Springs Lake Is Hosting An Off-Road Jamboree This Saturday
If your idea of a good Saturday morning involves chrome, mud, lifted trucks, side-by-sides, Jeeps, and enough horsepower to make your neighbors jealous, then you might want to clear your calendar.

Buffalo Springs Lake is bringing the dirt to the South Plains with its 'Off-Road 4x4 Jamboree' this Saturday, July 18th, and it's shaping up to be one of the coolest automotive events of the summer.
Anything That Goes In The Dirt Is Welcome
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and is open to just about everything built for the trail.
Whether you drive a lifted truck, Jeep, ATV, UTV, side-by-side, or classic 4x4, this is your chance to show it off and meet other off-road enthusiasts from around West Texas.

The event is sponsored by MP Fuel Brokers, and organizers promise a fun, family-friendly morning packed with cool rides, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to talk shop with fellow gearheads.
Free Breakfast? Don't Mind If I Do.
One of my favorite details...
Breakfast burritos and coffee will be served during the show, courtesy of Buffalo's Backyard Marina.
Because let's be honest, looking at lifted trucks is even better when there's a breakfast burrito involved!
Visitors can also register for a variety of giveaways throughout the morning.
According to the event flyer, prizes include:
- Paddle boards
- Annual passes to Buffalo Springs Lake
- Buffalo Springs Lake shirts
- $50 gift cards to Orlando's
- $50 gift cards to Buffalo's Backyard Marina
- Additional door prizes throughout the event
If you're lucky, you might leave with more than just a few great pictures.

More Than Just A Lake
Most people already know Buffalo Springs Lake as one of Lubbock's favorite places to cool off during the summer.
Located just minutes east of town, the lake offers boating, fishing, swimming beaches, camping, RV hookups, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking trails, live events, and Buffalo's Backyard Marina, making it one of the busiest outdoor recreation destinations in the South Plains. It also regularly hosts everything from concerts and festivals to national jet ski racing events.
A Great Excuse To Spend Saturday At The Lake
One thing I love about Buffalo Springs Lake is that there's always something happening.
One weekend it's high-speed jet ski racing.
The next weekend it's off-road rigs covered in mud and oversized tires.

Whether you're bringing your own vehicle to display or simply want to walk around and admire some incredible builds, the Off-Road 4x4 Jamboree promises something for everyone.
So fuel up the truck, grab the family, and head east on Saturday, July 18.
Who knows...
You may leave with a belly full of breakfast burritos, a door prize or two, and a brand-new idea for your next off-road upgrade.
