What Would Your Final Words Be? Here’s a Few From Executed Texas Criminals
If you had a chance to say a few last words, what would you say?
It's something we sort of take for granted, I think. Most people don't have the opportunity to know the moment they will die, but criminals on death row typically get a ton of time to think about it and plan it out.
Do you think you'd say something profound? Tell people you hated them? Make a joke?
Take a second to think about it...
l'd probably do my best to say something kind, especially if there were people I had done wrong to watching me breath my final breath. I'd definitely want to use the time to remind people I was sorry for my actions...
Unless, of course, I wasn't...
It's a lot of pressure. Hard to imagine, isn't it?
Take a look at 10 examples of the final words given by 10 Texas death row inmates. They range from sad, to apologetic, to downright sinister. I think the best way to read them is out loud. I know it sounds weird...but it makes it even creepier...just try it!
