Sweet Pup Co. (3532 34th) opened this past Saturday (1/6/2024) in Lubbock, beginning the year on an adorable note, as many local pets were in attendance. Yes, you can bring your dog into the store, because they deserve the joy of shopping, too.

Sweet Pup Co. offers dog* bandanas, homemade treats, and other cute accessories, making it a perfect place to take your pampered pup.

I had the pleasure of hearing from Bernadette Hernandez, the owner of Sweet Pup Co.:

We are a family-owned small business that creates veteran-made dog treats, made by my dad who has a TBI. He is a disabled Army Veteran and we are so very proud of him. Our accessories are made by me and my sister, [...] We've been creating pet products for over 12 years, Lubbock's first all-handmade pet boutique.

As someone who is part of a family-owned small business myself, it gives me great joy to see another Lubbock family realizing their dreams. I also love to see fun, local shops open on historic 34th Street.

In addition to the wide array of bandanas in a variety of colors and patterns, Sweet Pup Co. offers treats in flavors that are both healthy and delicious for dogs, like Blueberry Oatmeal, Apple Pumpkin, and Peanut Butter Pumpkin. The treats are easy for dogs to digest and contain no preservatives, artificial colors, or artificial ingredients.

Congratulations to Sweet Pup Co.! We are looking forward to seeing your family's business thrive.
