Sweet New Lubbock Business Has Perfect Picks For Pampered Pets

Sweet Pup Co. (3532 34th) opened this past Saturday (1/6/2024) in Lubbock, beginning the year on an adorable note, as many local pets were in attendance. Yes, you can bring your dog into the store, because they deserve the joy of shopping, too.

Sweet Pup Co. offers dog* bandanas, homemade treats, and other cute accessories, making it a perfect place to take your pampered pup.

I had the pleasure of hearing from Bernadette Hernandez, the owner of Sweet Pup Co.:

We are a family-owned small business that creates veteran-made dog treats, made by my dad who has a TBI. He is a disabled Army Veteran and we are so very proud of him. Our accessories are made by me and my sister, [...] We've been creating pet products for over 12 years, Lubbock's first all-handmade pet boutique.

As someone who is part of a family-owned small business myself, it gives me great joy to see another Lubbock family realizing their dreams. I also love to see fun, local shops open on historic 34th Street.
