What’s New in 2026: Flavor Lineup
While I was very saddened for the departure of my beloved French Toast Yays, this year does bring an exciting addition to take its place: Exploremores, a new cookie inspired by rocky road ice cream. These sandwich cookies feature rich chocolate wafers filled with marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème, offering a fun twist on a classic treat.
Alongside Exploremores, many fan-favorite cookies are returning, including:
Thin Mints
- Lemonades
Caramel deLites (aka Samoas)
Peanut Butter Patties
Adventurefuls
Carmel Chocolate Chip (these are Gluten-free)
Peanut Butter Sandwich
Trefoils (Shortbread)
🍪 How to Buy Cookies in Lubbock
There are a few great ways to score boxes this season:
1. Local Booth Sales
One of the best parts of cookie season is seeing Girl Scouts at booths around town often outside grocery stores, community centers, and local shops. These pop-up spots usually run on weekends and select weekdays throughout January through March. Check the list here.
2. Digital & Online Orders
Many troops participate in online selling platforms, letting you order cookies through a link provided by a local Girl Scout or directly online. This is a convenient option if you don’t see a booth near you, or you REALLY want to stock up.
Why Girl Scout Cookies Matter
Buying Girl Scout cookies isn’t just a sweet seasonal tradition, it’s also a boost to local troops. Proceeds from cookie sales help support year-round activities, community projects, leadership experiences, and programs for girls in Lubbock and across the council. In addition, selling cookies gives Girl Scouts real-world skills in goal setting, money management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
