25-year-old Pierson McKinnley Anthony, an escaped inmate from Marion County, Alabama, was located in the parking lot of a Buc-cee's in Melissa, Texas yesterday around 2 pm after his license plate was identified with Flock camera technology.

Anthony surrendered without incident and is being held in Collin County Jail until his extradition to Marion County.

The Buc-cee's parking lot where he was found is more than 600 miles away from the prison he escaped from in Alabama. He was certainly on the move.

Can you blame him for going to Buc-cee's, though? It would totally be a stop of mine if I was an escaped convict, not going to lie. That jerky is always calling my name...
