Authorities Identity Body of Woman Found in a Ditch in Southwestern Castro County

The identity of a woman's body found in Castro County has been released.

This past Saturday, the Castro County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dead body in Southwestern Castro County. Officers found a woman's body with a gunshot wound.

KAMC News reports 30-year-old Mark Longoria was later arrested and charged with the murder of 32-year-old Mysti Amber Goddard of Amarillo.

Longoria, from Earth, Texas, is being held in the Castro County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
