House Demolished by Fire in East Lubbock Under Investigation

Tuesday morning (Jan. 23), Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in East Lubbock.

Fire crews were called around 1:45 a.m. to Avenue M and 21st Street to fight a blaze that had consumed a house. According to the fire department, the house was vacant at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
