One of my favorite events of the year is back. The Junior League of Lubbock's 42nd Annual Holiday Happening Event is happening November 17th-21st, 2021, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

This five-day shopping event kicks off with awesome shopping and lots of local merchants. Not only that, there will be silent auctions and traditional events as well. Starting it off with Sneak Peek Night, then Ladies Night, and even a Breakfast with Santa Claus for the kiddos.

This is the largest fundraiser for them and it helps raises funds to provide support for signature community projects. This includes things like South Plains Food2Kids, Kids in the Kitchen and SPARK, and a lot more.

They do ask that people wear masks if they attend to keep everyone safe this year while shopping for holiday gifts for your loved ones.

I love this event because you're supporting a fundraiser, helping local businesses, and getting some great shopping done all in one place. I mean, what more could you ask for?

The Junior League of Lubbock was founded in 1934. They say they're "an organization comprised of more than 600 women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable."
