Talk about a sore loser. One high school football player's act of spite against an opposing team has landed him in serious trouble, and rightfully so.

An Ohio high school football player has been charged with 27 counts of assault after pricking the hands of the opposing team. The player had a sharp object, presumably a pin or a tack, hidden in his glove and injured the opposing players as he shook their hands after the game, forcing all those players to receive tetanus shots. The player in question did not play in the game, and has been kicked off the team following the incident.

I don't care if this was just a dumb prank, or if this guy really wanted to harm these players. Any action that requires your victim to get a tetanus shot is a very serious matter. This wasn't just poor sportsmanship, this was a spiteful, vicious and completely uncalled for act.
