GOP Strategist Matt Mackowiak Explains Why Democrats Are Not Relevant in Texas [AUDIO]

On the Monday edition of the Chad Hasty Show Matt Mackowiak, GOP strategist and co-founder of MustReadTexas.com, talked with Chad Hasty about the latest national and state-wide issues.

Mackowiak discussed an opinion article he wrote this weekend for the Austin American Statesman, and why Texas will not be a "battleground state" by 2016. As far as Republicans in 2016, Mackowiak said it's important for Republicans to retain control of the House, and that contenders like Ted Cruz, Chris Christie, and Jeb Bush are all likely to run for office.

Mackowiak also discussed the impending fiscal cliff, and whether or not we should go over it or not. Mackowiak said that Republican are not ready to give up on their position yet, and that the Republican will never vote for the increased rates the Democrats are wanting.
