GoFundMe Page Created for 9-Year-Old Luke Siegel
Two days after an accident with a golf cart that caused him serious injuries, a GoFundMe page has been set up to benefit 9-year-old Luke Siegel. Luke is one of the four children of Lubbock-Cooper ISD tennis coach Tim Siegel and his wife Jenny.
The younger Siegel was riding in a golf cart with a friend on Tuesday afternoon when the vehicle flipped over and landed on him. Luke was rushed to UMC where he battled through cardiac arrest and a collapsed lung.
The GoFundMe page, titled Lubbock Backs Luke, has raised over $30,000 through the evening of July 30.
Tim Siegel coached the Texas Tech tennis teams for over 20 years before leaving for Lubbock-Cooper ISD earlier this summer.
