A prominent candidate for Texas Land Commissioner will be in Lubbock next month for a local luncheon.

George P. Bush will be the keynote speaker at the Fiestas Patrias Luncheon hosted by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce on Friday, September 13th. The luncheon will be held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center from 11:30 to 1 pm.

Bush is the grandson of former President George H.W. Bush, son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and nephew former President George W. Bush.

According to a press release from the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce,

"Bush travels the state speaking to Hispanic groups about "kitchen table issues," which he believes unite the Hispanic community and conservatives."
