Gas prices in the Hub City rose after two months of falling prices.

According to the weekly KFYO News Gas Price Survey the average price for regular unleaded fuel is $3.10 per gallon, an increase of three cents from last week.

AAA Texas reports that falling gas prices are slowing down too. Motorists in the Lone Star State are paying $3.34 per gallon, a drop of one cent from last week.

Drivers in Corpus Christi are paying the lowest average price for fuel at $3.18 per gallon while the Dallas/Fort Worth area is paying $3.41 on average. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.

Nationally, drivers are paying $3.52 a gallon, an increase of a penny.
