Gas prices in Lubbock inch closer again to three dollars this week.

According to the weekly KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average price of regular self-serve fuel in Lubbock is $3.07, a drop of seven cents from last week.

AAA Texas reports the average fuel price in Texas is $3.35 per gallon, a drop of four cents from last week. Drivers in Houston are paying the most at the pump with prices at $3.40 per gallon while Beaumont has the cheapest price at $3.22.

Lubbock is not part of the AAA survey in Texas. Nationally, prices are flat from last week at $3.51 per gallon.
