Gas Prices Drop in Lubbock

According to the weekly KFYO News Gas Price Survey, the average price for regular unleaded gas in Lubbock is $3.43 per gallon, down two cents from last week.

This is the third consecutive week of gas prices falling, but only down six cents from the 2013 high of $3.49 from mid-February.

AAA Texas reports the average price for fuel dropped again from last week to $3.54. That is a four cent drop in statewide prices.

The highest average in Texas resides in Dallas at $3.58 and El Paso had the lowest at $3.47. Lubbock is not part of the AAA Texas survey.

Nationally, the average price dropped four cents to $3.70.
