Retail gasoline prices in Lubbock and throughout Texas continue to rise.

According to the weekly KFYO News gas price survey the average price of regular unleaded gasoline in Lubbock has gone up a dime to $3.49 per gallon.

The statewide average according to AAA Texas has risen 21 cents to $3.64 per gallon since last week.

Nationally, the price at the pump continues to be higher than the Hub City and Texas. The weekly average rose 15 cents to $3.74

AAA says summer blend fuel is expected to reach markets in a couple of weeks, but prices could continue to rise at the pump.
