Former Person of Interest in Mark Ysasaga Murder Case Arrested Again by Lubbock Police
A former person of interest in the Mark Ysasaga murder case was arrested Wednesday on unrelated charges.
Twenty-one-year-old Christian Castro was arrested on Wednesday, August 17 on assault and other charges related to an incident that occurred in the 3300 block of Auburn Street. KAMC News reports that Castro allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend.
According to the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, Castro was released Thursday morning just after 6:30 a.m. after posting a $7,000 bond.
Over one year ago, it was reported that Castro had received a Crime Line reward after allegedly providing a tip to the location of Ysasaga's body. Castro was not charged in connection with Ysasaga's murder.
