Fire in Cochran County Threatens 1400 Homes

The State of Texas State Operations Center received a report of a 1500-acre fire near the town of Whiteface, TX in Cochran County.

Over 1400 homes are threatened  and the Cochran County Fire Department, Whiteface and Levelland Volunteer Fire Departments and Texas Department of Transportation are responding to the fire.
