Family Promise Looks to Inform Public on Homeless Families in Lubbock

A free community lunch will be offered later this month to inform the public on homelessness in Lubbock.

Family Promise of Lubbock will hold the lunch on Thursday, May 16th at First United Methodist Church starting 11:45 a.m.

The lunch aims to inform people about the mission of Family Promise to help homeless families and the impact they have in the area.

The theme of the lunch is, “One Child, One Night,” and will include an opportunity to make a donation that will help provide overnight shelter for homeless families with children.
