End of Year Teacher on the Rise Luncheon Set for Saturday

Tomorrow, South Plains educators will be honored at a luncheon as Teachers on the Rise.

Mrs. Baird’s Bread, United Supermarkets, and the Texas Classroom Teachers Association will hold a luncheon with past monthly winners of Teachers on the Rise for the 2012-2013 school year.

The end of year luncheon takes place at the Double B Party Barn at 1910 Research Boulevard. A teacher who won Teacher on the Rise this year will be awarded $1,000 in a drawing.

The luncheon begins at noon and with the awards portion of the event taking place 12:45 p.m.
