Do Violent Video Games Affect Kids?
The Parents Television Council is concerned about the effect of television on children. Specifically, the council is concerned about the effect of sex, violence and profanity seen and heard on TV.
On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Dan Isett of the Parents Television Council pointed out that the council is also concerned about video games.
“Virtually all the social science data points toward negative effects from exposure of children to violence in general and violent video games in particular," Isett said.
Isett said that doesn’t mean every child will be affected the same way.
