Dan Patrick Says Texas Gun Stores Should Be Considered Essential

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick joined The Chad Hasty Show on Wednesday to discuss how the state has responded to the coronavirus pandemic.

Patrick continued to stress that at some point, the economy has to re-open. Patrick was supportive of the moves made by Governor Greg Abbott, but also said that he is no fan of cities and counties closing businesses in Texas. Patrick worries that the impact financially will be greater than the impact on health.

Patrick also discussed the status of gun stores in Texas telling KFYO that he believed gun stores and places that sell ammunition are essential in Texas.
