Dan Patrick On Meeting Kanye West & Changing The Culture

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick joined The Chad Hasty Show on Friday to discuss his appearance last Sunday at a church with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Patrick told KFYO the meeting happened when Kardashian reached out to Patrick about a death row inmate. Patrick said he wanted to share with Kardashian a prison ministry program in Texas called Heart of Texas.

Patrick also talked about President Trump's trip to Texas and pointed out that he [Patrick] believes the 2020 election is not about going against the Democrats, but instead is about changing the culture of the country and that the left embraces chaos and that 2020 is about taking on the "enemies of the Word of God".

About that ongoing battle, Patrick said,

I believe if elected officials embraced the word of God, you can't help but be a better elected official. One of the things we are fighting now Chad, in this country, is...I would say, the anti-God, secular Left, fighting against the Right in this country, that for the most part, whether it's...Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Christian, whatever it may be, they're fighting the Right, they're trying to kick God out of our country.
